"I'm gonna be a big sister!"

At first when Nana told McCartney that mommy has a baby in her belly, McCartney said, "no she doesn't."  But now she is starting to come around to the idea.  Many of McCartney's classmates have new little siblings so she understands what being a big sister is all about.  The only names she likes are the names of her friends little siblings, like Ella, Nora, and Gia.  When I suggest a name I like, McCartney says, "I don't like that."
Last night we were talking about the new baby coming after the summer and how the baby will go to her school too.   McCartney said, "I will be in pre-school and we will go to the baby room to pick her up and she will say, "Hi big sister!"
