My little artist!

McCartney's scarecrow piece was chosen to be on display at the public library.  She loves arts and crafts! 

3rd quarter report

McCartney's teacher says that she adds sparkle to the classroom. She has been a good friend to people who need a friend and works well with everyone. 

She has worked very hard in her reading recovery to become a great reader! She is continuing to work on talking less and staying on task. :-) 

She told us tonight she is really working on her behavior and gave us an example that the other day in art one of her friends was trying to talk to her but she decided she would keep her eyes straight ahead and listen to the teacher. She said "it's hard because talking to my friends is fun but I know what is the right thing to do. And I know that it will show up on here," and she took her little hand and patted her progress report.

The sweetness of the whole thing is too much to handle. 

Miller 3 1/2

Miller, Bruddy boy, Milly... 

He's the best guy. He has become so funny and smart.  He is so determined and firey at times but still so sweet and loving. The other day he got so mad at Ted and yelled, I don't like you daddy!! (Pause...) but I do love you."

The meanest thing he can think to call McCartney is, "Sissy! You're a busted dinosaur!" 

He loves dinosaurs and is the resident Dino expert at school. He's all boy. 

McCartney's 7th birthday

What a delightful age! McCartney is growing into a caring, empathic child while staying as sassy as can be. She is still innocent and uninhibited and as sweet as can be. She loves the stage, loves to be in charge and loves to talk to everyone. She is not lacking confidence which is a beautiful thing. 

She had a blast at her dance birthday party. 

McCartney is 7

Wearing her comono and charm bracelet, sorting her rainbow loom rubber bands with giant Beanie Boo's looking on.  This is a perfect evening. 

Dressing up!

McCartney loves movies and loves to be the characters in the movies. When watching Grease, she immediately identified with Rizzo. Or Layla in Teen Beach Movie. We are in trouble. 

Miller is playing with superheros or his favorite for about a year now, Dino's. He likes the wap things with his dino's tails and he'll call you a "big T Rex" if he's mad at you. 

Love bugs

McCartney almost 7 and Miller almost 3 1/2, they still love to snuggle. :)
