Ready? Set!

Our little boy is all boy.  He's into superheroes, "da dada da da! Batman!" anything with wheels and sports.  This is his football stance!  "Ready?  Set!"  Watch out because he will tackle you!

Kindergarten conferences

My heart soared when I had McCartney's parent/teacher conference with Miss Potts.  Miss Potts reported McCartney to be so sweet and so so empathetic.  We knew she was becoming very kind and of course social and funny, but we were so pleased to learn she goes out of her way to help others in the class.  One day Miss Potts had to deal with a discipline issue and afterwards, McCartney went up to Miss Potts to say, "I'm sorry you had to deal with that."  She's on the right track!

Halloween!

Between school parties and festivals, McCartney and Miller had dressed up about 4 times before the actual Trick or Treat night.  They looked so cute and had a blast.

We stuck with tradition and trick or treated with the Walters.  Mc ran from house to house with Mia and Ian collecting as much candy as possible and then said, "let's go home and eat candy!"  Miller walked slowly and ate candy the whole time.  As he was finishing a piece, he reached into his bag for another.  :)  He learned to say "tick tweet" and thank you!

What they're saying..

Miller is learning all sorts of new words and McCartney is like a sponge when it comes to vocab.
A couple of our favorite things Miller says is his name which he pronounces, "Milner."  And he has a little toy fish that he loves to play with in the bathtub with his daddy that he calls, "widdle fish."
He calls everything sweet a cookie, "Coo coo," And he can say full sentences now.  "I love daddy. And sissy." "Take my shoe out."  The other night he was having so much fun when we were out to dinner with Niney and Pappy,  he smiled and said, "No no time go home."
He knows most of his colors too.  He was naming colors the other day and it was so funny what he said when he go to one he didn't know.  "Purple, orange, yellow…..not yellow"
The other day Miller was messing with McCartney's dollhouse so she said, Miller is "banished" from my room!
