McCartney turned 5!

We cannot believe that our little girl is 5.  Our little CEO.  She is quickly growing up to be one of the funniest people we know.  Her knowledge of language amazes us and her social skills too.  Nana calls her quite precocious, which is true.  She is mostly agreeable and loving. :) She certainly knows what she wants so there was not a lot of him-hawing when it came to birthday party planning.  Since she is in love with Frozen right now that was a good place to start.  We found these invitations on Esty which  originally said, "Join us for a Frozen Party," but McCartney protested and said with her hands held out in front of her, "I just want it to say, McCartney is turning 5.  Let it Go!"

We saw a cake like this on a blog and there was no talking her out of it so we did our best to reproduce it.  She loved it!

She wanted to have her party at Wendy's Gymnastics, which was a great!  Wendy's runs the whole party and the kids have a blast.

A special visitor showed up.  Her daddy dressed as Kristoff from Frozen and brought down the house!

She got so many wonderful presents from her friends and family.
same weekend to make it easy for everyone. Leo's favorite thing is dress-up so Emily decided to have a favorite things party where you come dressed as your favorite thing.

For the goody bags we made snowflake sugar cookies, candy wands, a water bottle with a "melted snowman" label and a Frozen ring.  McCartney was very sweet and thanked us for everything.
