Emi came home to Indiana for almost a month with Brick and Leo.
We miss them and love playing with them when we can. Sure, they all suffered a few bumps and bruises (from each other) but you know, a little family drama can't be avoided. :)

Bestie Reunion
No, there wasn't a beautiful pregnant lady convention in Columbus. While the daddys went on their annual fishing trip in Michigan, the mommys were lucky enough to reunite in Ohio. Let's face it, they fish and drink for 4 days and stick us with the kids. But........we're so happy to be together, we can't complain.
It was utter chaos but so much fun. We miss our friends already.

Rocky Mountain High
We went to Denver to visit Aunt Bean and Uncle Greg for the 4th of July holiday. McCartney was showered with gifts and snacks from Aunt Bean. We absolutely had the best time with our wonderful hosts!
Highlights: Swimming and jumping in Bean and Greg's pool
Daily walks to see the gollys (horses in Bean's neighborhood). When we got home I kissed McCartney in the morning and she told me I smelled like horse.
Tom and Jerry (the goats in their neighborhood)
Phi Fo (When we got home, McCartney said I wish I could go back to Bean's and babysit Pheonix.)
Yummy dinners compliments of Betsy
Music concerts and drum solos led by McCartney
Ted and Greg's fly fishing excursion

Big Girl Bed!
McCartney was ready to say goodbye to her crib and say hello to a big girl bed. When asked if she was ready, she said, "oh yes, I'm so proud."
She loves playing in her new bed and is very excited for "her baby" to sleep in the crib.
Number of times Mc has wondered into our room in the middle of the night: zero! So far so good.
Thank you Gramps for helping us carry the heavy furniture from room to room!
