Scootin'

McCartney got a scooter for her 3rd birthday!  I thought she would want the pink Scooter but she was insistent on, "ooragne."
You might ask yourself:
1) Why is she is in her pajamas in the middle of the day?
2) Where is her helmet?

Parenting.  There's always room for improvement.

Somebody turned 3!!

McCartney had two more birthday parties during her "birthday week."  We had a little family part in Columbus where Nana, Aunt Bean (from afar) and Michelle showered with clothes, shoes and toys.

Then finally we had her big birthday party.  Niney and Pappy came into town for it.  We invited all of McCartney's little friends and had party at the park, fully equipped with an Easter egg hunt!

McCartney had the best day.  She ran around like a crazy woman the whole time.  Her friends played so sweetly with her and made her party the most fun.

Emily and the boys visit!

Em came home in March with Brick and Leo!  We had some fun in Columbus and then went to Topeka for the weekend where we celebrated Leo's 2nd and McCartney's 3rd birthdays.
McCartney had so much fun with her cousins.

Spring Break in Hilton Head

We took a few days and drove down to South Carolina for Spring Break in March.  We got so lucky with the weather because it was very warm and sunny the whole time.   McCartney did a great job on the drive, thank goodness.
We stopped outside of Charlotte and found some local 'que.  Mc enjoyed getting out of the car and running around.  Literally she ran around the restaurant the whole time.
We got to HH in the afternoon and the first thing McCartney did was lay flat on the sand and made a sand angel.

We biked on beach and biked on the trails.
McCartney liked this bike best.
McCartney discovered Mister Man! ice cream (superman ice cream) in HH and still talks about it.  Picture it:  She was eating blue, yellow and red ice cream, which was mostly on her face and shirt while she toddled around the gift shop picking out her tie-dye Salty Dog t-shirt.

It was a wonderful trip.
